Michigan Marriage License Requirements:

Legal Age: 18

Blood Test: None

Residency Requirements: Mich. residents must apply in the county in which at least one party resides. The license may then be used anywhere in Michigan. Out-of-state applicants must apply in the county in which they will marry.

Fee: $20 (cash, check, or money order) / $30 if non-resident (cash, check, or money order)

ID: Valid photo ID

Who Must Be Present to Apply: Either bride or groom must be present with all the relevant information.

Waiting Period: 3 days

Valid for: 30 days

Valid Out of Municipality: See residency requirements.

If Previously Married: Know dates and locations of divorce or death.
